Save 34% Off The Storied Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Lumina Computer Speakers Well Ahead Of Black Friday

Amazon is offering a substantial discount on the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Lumina computer speakers well in advance of Black Friday sales. The online retailer has cut the cost of the desktop audio setup by 34 percent, dropping the price down to $249.99 with free shipping included. This marks a notable price reduction from the hardware's standard $379.99 MSRP, making the recently modernized sound system much more accessible to prospective buyers.

The original Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 system maintained a prominent reputation among PC gamers and audio enthusiasts for nearly twenty years. While the line received minor iterative adjustments over its extensive lifespan, the series did not undergo a comprehensive structural redesign until late 2025 with the release of the Lumina variant. The current version reimagines the classic desk setup with both cosmetic and technological enhancements tailored for contemporary workstations.

Visually, the ProMedia 2.1 Lumina departs from the appearance of its legacy predecessors. The new hardware adopts an elevated design aesthetic featuring a two-tone silver and black front paneling complemented by a wood-grain outer wrap. To cater to modern desktop environments, Klipsch integrated subtle RGB illumination into the units; rather than shining directly at the user, the lighting casts an ambient glow backward onto the wall behind the desk surface.

While the equipment keeps its traditional 2.1 channel speaker arrangement, individual components have undergone dimensional and structural updates. The included satellite speakers are slightly larger than older builds, housing a three-inch mid-range driver alongside a one-inch mylar tweeter attached to a Microtractrix horn. Meanwhile, the companion subwoofer has been redesigned into a slimmer profile and utilizes a ported construction powered by a 6.5-inch side-firing driver.

In addition to physical revisions, the Lumina setup incorporates numerous modern connectivity features. Users can link the system directly to a personal computer through a USB Type-C interface or stream audio wirelessly using Bluetooth 5.3 technology. System management is supported through a dedicated Klipsch Control desktop application, which enables listeners to adjust equalization settings and alter lighting effects directly from their operating system.

The ongoing discount provides a rare opportunity to acquire the updated audio gear shortly after its debut on the market. For users seeking to replace bulky studio monitors or setups lacking dedicated low-frequency units, the compact footprint and included subwoofer of the Lumina represent a compelling functional upgrade at its revised price point.
