IGN Australia And Chupa Chups To Host A Retro Gaming ‘Fun House’ Activation At Westfield Parramatta This October

IGN Australia and Chupa Chups are launching a free retro gaming pop-up called the Forever Fun House at Westfield Parramatta this October. Running from October 1 to October 4, the event features multiplayer gaming, free candy, and major hardware giveaways.

A major interactive gaming event is coming to New South Wales this October, as IGN Australia joins forces with confectionery brand Chupa Chups and retail giant Westfield Parramatta. The collaborative project, named the Chupa Chups Forever Fun House, is scheduled to run for four consecutive days during the October school holiday period. Designed as a nostalgic tribute to a 1990s family home, the physical installation will feature four distinct, themed rooms packed with gaming hardware, classic entertainment, and sweet treats.

The entire activation is free to the public, offering visitors of all ages the chance to drop in and play without any admission fees. Located at the Level 2 Centre Court of Westfield Parramatta, directly opposite the Uniqlo store, the event will align its operating hours with the shopping center's daily schedule. Doors will open as early as 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM depending on the day, and the fun will continue until the mall closes, including an extended late-night session on Thursday, October 1.

Inside the Forever Fun House, attendees can expect a diverse lineup of multiplayer video games designed for quick, competitive sessions with friends and family. Confirmed titles available for play include popular multiplayer hits such as Mario Kart World, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Minecraft Dungeons II. Organizers have also teased that several unannounced surprise games will be rotated into the lineup throughout the four-day run, encouraging gaming enthusiasts to make repeat visits to test their skills.

In addition to free gameplay and complimentary Chupa Chups lollipops, the event features a massive prize pool with high-end gaming hardware up for grabs. The centerpiece of the giveaways is a custom, one-of-a-kind Chupa Chups-themed gaming desktop computer built by Aftershock. This unique, high-performance PC will be on display inside the Fun House throughout the weekend, allowing visitors to inspect the custom craftsmanship before it is awarded to one fortunate winner.

The prize pool does not stop with the custom PC, as attendees will also have opportunities to win major home consoles. Prizes up for grabs include the Xbox Series X, the PlayStation 5, and the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. To enter the sweepstakes, visitors simply need to scan a designated QR code displayed at the Westfield Parramatta venue, or they can participate online via the Gleam platform. Entrants can also secure additional entries into the draw by following the official social media accounts of IGN, Chupa Chups, and Westfield.

The sweepstakes is open exclusively to residents of Australia, and specific terms and conditions will apply to the giveaway. While the basic schedule and location details have been locked in, organizers plan to share more comprehensive information, including additional announcements and full entry guidelines, in the weeks leading up to the October launch. Fans are encouraged to monitor IGN Australia's official Facebook and Instagram channels to stay updated on the latest developments.
