Settle In And Get Comfortable With The Designed For XBOX Cozy Collection

Microsoft has officially launched the Designed for Xbox Cozy Collection, a curated selection of gaming peripherals designed to bring a warm, whimsical aesthetic to players' setups. Created in collaboration with prominent accessory manufacturers 8BitDo, SteelSeries, and KontrolFreek, this new product line features a cohesive design language inspired by nature, pixelated woodlands, and calming color palettes. The collection is aimed at players who enjoy cozy adventures, farming simulators, and casual exploration, offering a mix of tactile hardware and audio gear that emphasizes comfort alongside functionality.

Among the central pieces of the collection is the 8BitDo Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard in the Forest Wonder colorway. This keyboard is built with Kailh tactile switches and features an independent control panel, customizable RGB backlighting, and programmable super buttons. Designed to offer a satisfying tactile experience for every keystroke, the keyboard is intended to serve as a visual and functional anchor for a cozy desktop configuration. It is currently available for purchase directly through 8BitDo's official website.

To accompany the keyboard, 8BitDo has also released the Retro R8 Mouse and charging dock, also in the Forest Wonder theme. Sharing a unified design aesthetic with the Retro 87 keyboard, this mouse is engineered for fast precision and features four programmable side buttons, allowing users to customize their inputs for various gaming needs. The inclusion of a matching charging dock ensures the mouse remains powered while maintaining a clean, wireless look on the desktop. Like the keyboard, the Retro R8 Mouse can be purchased now from 8BitDo.

For console and multi-platform players, the collection includes the 8BitDo Ultimate 3 Controller in a Mossy Lagoon color scheme. This controller features a palette inspired by water, moss, and forest creatures, and comes equipped with an improved grip for enhanced physical comfort during long play sessions. It also boasts adjustable joystick tension and comes packaged with a wireless charging dock. The Ultimate 3 Controller supports 2.4G wireless and wired connections for Xbox consoles and PCs, as well as Bluetooth connectivity for mobile devices, and is available now on 8BitDo's website.

Audio needs are addressed by the SteelSeries Arctis Gamebuds, which are offered in Matcha and Yuzu colorways to match the collection's overall palette. These compact earbuds feature Active Noise Cancellation, an ultra-low latency wireless connection, and Quick-Switch capabilities between 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3. Players can access over 200 custom audio presets tailored for Xbox and other platforms via the Arctis Companion App. Additionally, the earbuds deliver 360-degree Spatial Audio, offer IP55 water and dust resistance, and provide up to 40 hours of total battery life, with 10 hours per charge, utilizing a Qi-compatible wireless charging case. They are available now through SteelSeries.

Rounding out the collection are the KontrolFreek No-Slip Thumb Grips in the Xbox Cozy Edition. Designed to fit standard Xbox controllers, these grips feature a calming matcha and yuzu color combination that complements the rest of the Cozy Collection. Made from KontrolFreek's proprietary, non-slip GripTek material, the thumb grips are engineered to keep a player's thumbs securely in place during extended sessions of farming, building, or questing. Their ergonomic design aims to reduce hand fatigue, and they can be purchased now directly from KontrolFreek's website.

The entire Designed for Xbox Cozy Collection is intended to offer a magical, comfortable upgrade for players looking to personalize their gaming environments. By combining the unique design strengths of 8BitDo, SteelSeries, and KontrolFreek, the collection provides a complete ecosystem of visually matching, high-performance accessories.
