Save On VITURE's XR Glasses During EBay's Labor Day Sale And Bring A Massive Display Wherever You Go
VITURE is offering significant discounts on its refurbished XR and AR glasses through its official eBay storefront. By applying a 20% off coupon code during eBay's Labor Day Sale, buyers can secure models like the gaming-focused VITURE Beast or the productivity-oriented VITURE Luma series at reduced prices, complete with an extended two-year warranty.
Extended reality (XR) glasses offer a unique blend of novelty and utility by projecting a private, virtual screen directly in front of the wearer. Despite their practical benefits, high manufacturing costs have historically kept these devices out of reach for many consumers, with standard retail prices often reaching hundreds of dollars. A new promotional event on eBay aims to lower this barrier to entry for shoppers looking to adopt the technology.
To mark the Labor Day holiday, eBay has launched a promotional campaign featuring a coupon code, "LABORDAY20", which slashes an additional 20% off select items. VITURE, a prominent brand in the United States XR and augmented reality (AR) market, is participating in the event. The company is offering its official lineup of refurbished glasses through its eBay storefront, allowing customers to stack the holiday coupon on top of existing refurbishing discounts.
Purchasing refurbished hardware often comes with concerns regarding longevity, but VITURE is addressing this by bundling these promotional items with an extended two-year warranty backed by Allstate. The eligible inventory includes the high-end VITURE Beast, which is tailored for entertainment, alongside three distinct tiers of the productivity-focused VITURE Luma series: the Standard, Pro, and Ultra models.
The VITURE Beast is designed specifically to cater to gamers and movie enthusiasts. It utilizes Micro OLED panels sourced from Sony to deliver a resolution of 1920x1200 per eye, simulating a massive 4K virtual display that can span up to 174 inches. Built with an aluminum-magnesium alloy frame weighing 88 grams, the Beast features a 58-degree field of view, a native 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200 nits of peak brightness, and integrated Harman Audio open-ear speakers. It also supports 3DoF tracking to pin screens in mid-air, nine levels of dimming, and real-time 2D-to-3D conversion.
In a hands-on evaluation, reviewer Jackie Thomas praised the VITURE Beast as an excellent solution for carrying a massive gaming monitor on the go. However, the review noted a few caveats, pointing out that the device's finicky control scheme and occasionally blurry text presentation prevent it from completely replacing a traditional, permanent desktop monitor.
For users prioritizing work and text clarity over gaming, the VITURE Luma series presents an alternative. The Luma lineup consists of three models that project a virtual screen up to 152 inches using the same 1200p Sony Micro-OLED panels. These models utilize Birdbath lenses, which provide superior edge-to-edge clarity and a more forgiving viewing sweet spot compared to the Beast. Because the Luma series features a smaller field of view, it concentrates pixels more densely, resulting in much sharper text rendering.
The three Luma variants are tiered by their tracking capabilities and brightness. The premium Luma Ultra is the brightest of the trio at 1,500 nits and is the sole model to feature full 6DoF head- and hand-tracking. The mid-tier Luma Pro offers a more budget-friendly middle ground by providing 3DoF tracking, while the entry-level Luma XR drops tracking features entirely, making it a cost-effective option for users who plan to rely solely on traditional inputs like a keyboard, mouse, or gamepad.
