Share Of The Week: Breathtaking Views

The PlayStation Blog has published its latest "Share of the Week" feature, showcasing a collection of stunning virtual landscapes captured by the gaming community [1.1]. Following a call for submissions under the theme of "Breathtaking Views," players utilized the platform's designated social media hashtags to submit their most impressive in-game photography. The resulting gallery highlights the diverse artistic styles and environments found across several major PlayStation titles.

Among the selected highlights is a capture by the user call_me_xavii, which features the stylized, painted environment of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This upcoming title's distinct visual presentation is emphasized in the shot, illustrating the creative art direction that defines its world. The image stands alongside more traditional fantasy landscapes, offering a look at the game's unique aesthetic.

Representing the dark fantasy genre, a submission from rorottino captures a sweeping view of the world of Elden Ring. The image highlights the vast scale and atmospheric lighting of FromSoftware's acclaimed title, showcasing the quiet, imposing beauty that players encounter while exploring its expansive and dangerous terrain.

The scenic beauty of historical Japan is also represented in the collection. A screenshot submitted by SheikhSadi80 captures a serene cherry blossom altar from Ghost of Yōtei. The image emphasizes the vibrant pink foliage and tranquil atmosphere of the setting, reflecting the franchise's signature focus on picturesque, nature-driven environments.

In contrast to the fantasy and historical settings, dfgmendes shared a quieter, more grounded moment from The Last of Us Part II. The captured image depicts a farm setting bathed in the warm light of a setting sun, highlighting the game's realistic environmental design and emotional atmosphere.

The gallery also features a snowy, high-altitude perspective from Horizon Forbidden West, shared by itsaPinky_fn. This shot captures the icy, rugged terrain of the post-apocalyptic frontier, showcasing the game's detailed weather effects and expansive draw distances. Additionally, xirantics contributed a vibrant, glowing view of the Arlathan Forest from Dragon Age: The Veilguard, illustrating the magical and colorful art style of BioWare's fantasy world.

With the "Breathtaking Views" showcase concluded, the PlayStation Blog has announced the theme for the next iteration of the community event. Players are being asked to capture and share images of trees from their favorite games. Submissions must be uploaded to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtags #PSshare and #PSBlog by September 2, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT to be considered for the next feature.
